Installation management is the controlled hand-off from approved production information to a real site. It makes the current job, constraints and exceptions visible before the crew arrives and after the work is complete.

Installation begins with the approved job, not a last-minute call.
Bring the approved proof, survey constraints, access arrangements, site contact and completion expectation into one handover. The fitting team needs the latest information, including dependencies that can change the day rather than only the finished artwork.

Protect the hand-off
Separate confirmation from assumption.
A job sheet should say what is confirmed, who confirmed it and when. It should distinguish a customer-supplied access arrangement from one the installer has seen, and it should surface missing permits or equipment as dependencies—not disguise them as complete.

Close with evidence
Record what was completed and what still belongs to someone.
At handover, capture completion evidence, customer response, snags, variations and the document or person responsible for the next step. Invoice review should follow the delivered scope and approved changes, rather than a memory of the original quote.
