Procurement and assurance

Buy the evidence, not the impression.

A concise starting point for a buyer, tender team or security reviewer evaluating the current Spectra proposition.

Published by Spectra · no named expert reviewer is claimed · last reviewed 17 September 2026 · operational guidance, not technical, legal or safety certification.

The practical answer

The public site supplies verified company identity and inspectable demonstration evidence. Commercial terms, product security, availability, integrations, migration and support commitments must be evidenced for the proposed deployment and agreed in writing.

01

Supplier identity

Start with the accountable legal entity.

Spectra is operated by Tech Geek UK Ltd, company 09834597. The company-information page links directly to Companies House and the ICO register. Registration is not presented as certification or customer endorsement.

02

Current offer

Evaluate the demonstrated workflow, not an assumed service level.

The current public release supports evaluation through product pages, a fictional sample workspace, resources and tools. Pricing, production availability, implementation scope, support hours, service levels, data-processing terms and acceptance criteria require a written commercial proposal.

  • No public price or availability claim
  • No tender response should infer live integrations
  • No security certification or penetration-test claim
  • No customer reference is supplied without permission
03

Due diligence

Ask for workload-specific evidence before contract.

A real procurement pack should be completed against the proposed environment, users, data, integrations and operating model. Generic website controls do not prove the SaaS application is ready for regulated or sensitive workloads.

  • Architecture and data-flow review
  • Identity, role and tenant-boundary tests
  • Backup, restore, retention, export and deletion evidence
  • Subprocessor, residency and international-transfer terms
  • Incident, support, change and exit responsibilities
04

Decision trail

Keep unknowns visible.

Spectra will record each question as demonstrated, documented, contractually committed, planned, provider-dependent or not available. The buyer should retain the evidence and date used for the decision rather than relying on a sales-page summary.
