Use case · vehicle graphics

Keep the vehicle, proof and fitting in the same conversation.

A workflow pattern for vehicle graphics where the vehicle variant, panel context and installation reality matter as much as the artwork.

The practical answer

Vehicle graphics work moves cleanly when the team can identify the exact vehicle, the applicable proof and the installation conditions without rebuilding the context at every hand-off.

01

Brief the vehicle

A vehicle is a site that moves.

Vehicle graphics need a clear vehicle identity, panel context, template source, condition notes, installation location and customer approval path. Record whether dimensions came from a manufacturer template, a physical vehicle or a customer description; these are not equivalent sources.

  • Registration or fleet reference where appropriate
  • Make, model, wheelbase and body variant
  • Panel photos and existing damage notes
  • Brand assets and viewing requirements
  • Downtime, depot and access constraints
02

Control the proof

Show the version that belongs to the vehicle.

Connect the proof to the vehicle variant, sides covered, material and finish. A proof may look correct while fitting the wrong wheelbase or omitting a panel. Put variation requests through a visible commercial and artwork review before production.

03

Prepare delivery

Plan removal, fitting and completion as part of the job.

A practical handover includes material, panel sequence, access, cleaning or preparation dependencies, the approved proof and completion evidence. It is not a vehicle-safety instruction or a substitute for manufacturer guidance, trained installation practice or insurance requirements.

04

Spectra boundary

The workflow supports the record; it does not create vehicle artwork.

Spectra does not claim vehicle-template libraries, design software, fleet telematics, live scheduling or mobile installation capture. The sample demonstrates a connected workflow context only.
